Recently, a great deal of studies have indicated that high expression of ILF2, which was observed in lymphoma, leukemia, glioma, cervical cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and esophageal squamous cell cancer, was significantly related to the poor prognosis of these malignant tumors [11, 20–26]. This evidence concerns the gene ILF2 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
