To the best of our knowledge, ILf2 also could inhibit the apoptosis of liver cancer cells through regulating the expression of B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2), Bcl-2 related ovarian killer (Bok), Bcl-2-associated X protein (BAX), and cellular inhibitor of apoptosis 1 (cIAP1) to facilitate the genesis and progression of liver cancer [20]. The gene discussed is ILF2; the disease is liver cancer.
