After seasonal virus infection, the IFN-γ levels in asthmatic mice increased to 72.8 pg/mL at 3 days post-infection, which were similar to the levels in A/Puerto Rico-challenged control and asthmatic mice at 3 days post-infection, but were lower than those in asthmatic/A(H1N1)pdm09 mice at 3 days post-infection (p = 0.002). This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and viral infectious disease.
