CXCR5 and rheumatoid arthritis: We propose that targeting CXCR5 in RA would disrupt co-localization of autoreactive B cells and Tfh cells, inhibiting thereby autoreactive GC responses and resulting autoimmune Ab production making the development of CXCR5 inhibitors a promising future approach in RA therapy and probably the therapy of other autoantibody driven autoimmune conditions.
