Tracing of glucose and glutamine fate in tumors derived from human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and mouse KRAS-driven NSCLC found that these tumors rely more on glucose than on glutamine for TCA cycle anaplerosis (Davidson et al., 2016; Hensley et al., 2016; Sellers et al., 2015).
