Combined with the similar results that elevated HOXC10 expression is associated with increased invasiveness and indicates poor survival outcome of human cervical cancer and thyroid cancer (Zhai et al., 2007; Feng et al., 2015), our study further highlights the potential value of HOXC10 as a novel biomarker for human cancer prognosis evaluation. The gene discussed is HOXC10; the disease is thyroid gland carcinoma.
