INS and cancer: The significantly enriched pathways (with ≥5DE mRNAs) included organism system (steroid biosynthesis, cytochrome P450); metabolism (glycine, serine, and threonine metabolism, insulin signalling pathway, PPAR signalling pathway, retinol metabolism, fatty acid metabolism, glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, glutathione metabolism); and immune regulation (antigen processing and presentation, Toll-like receptor signalling pathway, complement and coagulation cascades, leukocyte transendothelial migration, and pathways in cancer) (Table 2).
