Since 1997, a truncated form of human tissue factor (tTF) has been linked to different tumor endothelial homing tags, including antibodies against MHC-II, vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1), NG2 proteoglycan, EDB domain of fibronectin, prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA), vascular endothelial growth factor receptor and short amino acid sequences containing Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD)/Asn-Gly-Arg (NGR) tri-peptides for targeting αvβ3 integrins2–10. This evidence concerns the gene FOLH1 and neoplasm.
