LMNA and lung adenocarcinoma: The lamin ratio [r = A / (A + C)] distinguished two groups of lung adenocarcinoma patients; 37.5% (12/32) of patients are in the low lamin A expression group with a ratio significantly reduced (p<0.001, Mann-Whitney test), exhibiting an eightfold decrease (r = 0.05 ± 0.03) compared to the patients in the high lamin A expression group (r = 0.39 ± 0.15) (Panel B in Fig 1).
