VEGFB and lymphoma: Vegfb mRNA has been found in many different human tumour types: adenocarcinoma [42], breast [43] and ovarian carcinoma [44], lymphoma, melanoma, sarcoma [41] etc. Salven et al. [41] have shown that VEGF-B expression levels are higher in cancer tissue as compared with healthy tissue samples, suggesting its role in neoangiogenesis.
