IL15 and inflammatory bowel disease: Similarly, we found a reduced percentage of proliferating crypt enterocytes (Ki67+ cells) in the anti-IL-15 cultured biopsies of both CD and UC patients with a statistically significant decrease in the overall group of IBD patients (27.98 ± 10.65% in IL-15 cultured mucosa, versus 33.69 ± 12.35% in medium cultured mucosa, p = 0.04), Fig 7B.
