Fig 2B showed that HspB5 mRNA levels were significantly lower after the introduction of HspB5 siRNA (0.07±0.02 vs.1, P<0.01). The control siRNA group failed to reveal any differences in HspB5 expression before and after siRNA interference. These data clearly revealed that gene silencing with siRNA successfully knocked out the HspB5 expression in Lovo cells, which could serve as the in vitro model to investigate the tumor invasion and metastasis in CRC.
