Additionally, the miR17-92 cluster reduced ANG II-induced upregulation of the cardiac hypertrophy markers BNP (161.33±14.11 versus 65.52±16.31% P <0.001) and ANP (221.91±15.41 versus 107.92±17.32% P <0.001), implying that the miR17-92 cluster negatively regulated HSF2 expression to modulate cardiac hypertrophy (Figure 3e). This evidence concerns the gene NPPA and cardiac hypertrophy.
