Subpopulation C was the rarest subpopulation (18.8%), consisting of 78 cells, but had the highest number of cancer genes (N = 13) that were overexpressed (MKI67, TPX2, TOP2A, PRC1, CDK1, AURKA, CKS2, BIRC5, DEPDC1 UBE2C, NEK2, BRCA2, and RAD51AP1). This evidence concerns the gene TPX2 and cancer.
