A20 may regulate NF-kB activity [4–6], and both A20 and NF-kB are complicated in HBV infection [8, 9, 11–13] and HBV-related [10] or non-HBV-related liver injury [14] and liver regeneration [15] as well as HCC proliferation and metastasis [16, 17]. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
