miRNAs are differentially expressed in normal and tumour tissues in many types of cancers, including CRC.19, 20, 21 miR-483 and miR-551 have been validated as anti-oncogenes of CRC.22 We suspect that there may be some new miRNAs that are differentially expressed and regulate FUT5 and FUT6 in CRC. This evidence concerns the gene FUT6 and cancer.
