The relationship between height and prostate cancer risk has been proposed to act through possible factors including pre-adult nutritional status, androgen and insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I; Giovannucci et al, 1997; Calle, 2000; Willett, 2000; Freeman et al, 2001; Emerging Risk Factors Collaboration, 2012; Travis et al, 2016). This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and Familial prostate cancer.
