INS and polycystic ovary syndrome: Tominaga et al. found that 1800 mg/day LFO did not change FBS and insulin concentrations in overweight subject after 12 weeks.4But Luan et al. indicated that 10 μM glabridin reduced insulin level and insulin resistance in women with polycystic ovary syndrome after 12 months.30 Based on Wu et al. study, glabridin decreased FBS and insulin resistance after 28 days in diabetic mice.
