In all cases, the foamy macrophages stained positive for CD68 (exemplified in Figure 1h), and also for CD163 (Figure 1i), indicating an anti-inflammatory M2-phenotype.14 As expected, the surrounding pRCC tumor cells were positive for CD10 (Figure 1j) and both cell types displayed an expression of vimentin (Figure 1k).
