It has been reported that BRAF (B-Raf proto-oncogene) and KRAS (KRAS proto-oncogene) mutations in CRC predicted resistance to anti-EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) therapy [26], and CRC cells were less responsive to anti-BRAF and anti-MEK therapies [27–29].
