The adjusted HRs for a comparison of the top third versus the bottom third of the hs-cTnT concentration were 1.55 (95% CI: 1.23 to 1.96) for CVD, 2.16 (95% CI: 1.74 to 2.67) for fatal CVD, 1.85 (95% CI: 1.42 to 2.42) for CHD, and 1.21 (95% CI: 0.88 to 1.67) for stroke.
