Semiquantitative measurements of MMS glioblastoma (n = 10 for each subtype; >1,000 cells/glioblastoma) showed a higher percentage of strongly positive cancer cells in mesenchymal subtype as compared to the proneural subtype (ANG1, 46.8 vs 13.5, ***p < 0.001; ANG2, 51.2 vs 17.5, ***p < 0.001; VEGF-A, 27.3 vs 8.9, **p < 0.001; and VEGF-B, 30.3 vs 14.2, ***p < 0.001) (Figure 5C).
