RYR2 and catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia: Finally, we provide evidence that treatment with flecainide, an agent that can suppress catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) caused by mutations in the RyR2-encoded cardiac ryanodine receptor/calcium release channel, also suppresses the ISO induced arrhythmias shown in PKP2-deficient animals.
