In agreement with our data, Meng et al. [39] described that trichostatin A induces G2/M cycle arrest and apoptosis in both colorectal cancer cells HCT116 and HT29 via mitochondrial pathway by causing dissipation of mitochondrial membrane, caspase-3 activation and PARP cleavage [39]. Here, CASP3 is linked to colorectal cancer.
