Univariate analysis demonstrated that age, systolic BP, pulse pressure, hypertension, smoking habit, HDL-C, and proteinuria were all positively correlated with log NT-proBNP, whereas male sex, BMI, waist circumference, obesity, lipid profiles except HDL-C, uric acid, eGFR, and hemoglobin were all negatively correlated with it. Here, NPPB is linked to hypertensive disorder.
