Serum FT4 levels (β = 0.27 ± 0.12, P = 0.03) and age (β = 0.11 ± 0.03, P < 0.01) were positively associated with PASP adjusted for age, gender, BMI, smoking, LVEF, hypertension, and use of calcium channel blockers, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, and nitrates. This evidence concerns the gene ACE and hypertensive disorder.
