After adjustment of age, gender, BMI, smoking, LVEF, hypertension, and use of calcium channel blockers, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, and nitrates, FT4 levels were independently associated with the risk of PH (OR = 1.12, 95% CI 1.01–1.25, P = 0.03). This evidence concerns the gene ACE and hypertensive disorder.
