HOXA11 and squamous cell lung carcinoma: With regard to the clinicopathological characteristics, we found that HOXA11-AS expression was higher (3.790 ± 2.143) in stage (III + IV) than in stage (I + II) (3.031 ± 2.025, P = 0.01, Fig. 1C) in lung adenocarcinoma as well as in lung squamous cell carcinoma (III + IV: 5.569 ± 1.980, I + II: 4.939 ± 1.896, P = 0.01, Fig. 1D).
