The latest study indicated that WXKL significantly reduced the expression of CaMkinaseII (CaMKII), p-CaMKII (Thr-286), and phospholamban (Plb), but significantly increased the expression of the ryanodine receptor 2 (Ryr2), phosphorylated Plb (p-Plb), and FKBP12.6 in rats with myocardial infarction to improve cardiac function and inhibit myocardial remodeling [16]. This evidence concerns the gene RYR2 and myocardial infarction.
