However, compared with the Tg group, mice in the Tg + DMS group showed partial restoration of Ach levels (91.67 ± 3.97% vs. 75.93 ± 3.80%, p < 0.05) and ChAT activity (87.85 ± 4.85% vs. 66.43 ± 5.53%, p < 0.05), as well as inhibition of AchE activity (115.10 ± 8.20% vs. 140.10 ± 3.80%, p < 0.05), demonstrating that DMS treatment effectively regulated cholinergic system balance in AD mice.
