To investigate effects of hypothermia on IL-22 biological activity, IL-22-responsive epithelial-like human Caco2 and DLD1 colon carcinoma cells (59) as well as HepG2 hepatoma cells (13) were adjusted for 6 h to an ambient temperature of either 30 or 37°C followed by stimulation with IL-22. This evidence concerns the gene IL22 and colon carcinoma.
