In the general analysis, we found that CRP gene rs1205 was not associated with CRC risk (T versus C: OR and 95% CI, 1.05 (0.93, 1.19), P=0.421; TT versus CC: OR and 95% CI, 1.14 (0.91, 1.43), P=0.257; TT + CT versus CC: OR and 95% CI, 1.03 (0.87, 1.20), P=0.758; TT versus CT+CC: OR and 95%CI, 1.16 (0.98, 1.37), P=0.078; TC versus CC: OR and 95% CI, 0.99 (0.86, 1.14), P=0.866, Table 3 and Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and colorectal carcinoma.
