Several biomarkers including N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-pro-BNP), high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and cardiac troponin T (cTnT) have been studied and shown to correlate with adverse CV outcomes in the end-stage renal disease (ESRD) population[1–5].
