The mouse chemokine detection microarray confirmed that the levels of MCP-1, MCP-5, MIP-1α, RANTES and I-309, the macrophage chemokines, but not the levels of KC, LIX, and MIP-2, the neutrophil chemokines, in the sera of L. interrogans-infected C3H/HeJ mice were significantly increased during infection (Fig 7A and 7B).
