SELP and myocardial infarction: PMVs are defined as membranous vesicles derived from the platelet which are definedand identified by surface molecules CD62P and CD63.27 With the ability to bind coagulation factors VIII,Va, and IX, PMVs not only reflect platelet activation but also contribute to theactivation of the coagulation pathway and thrombogenesis.28-29 It wasfound that there was high level of PMVs in the peripheral blood of the MI patients. The main cause may be the change of blood flow shear force induced by pathologicalchanges in the blood vessels of the MI patients.
