Additional analysis of FBXL4 genomic region in a bigger cohort of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) prostate cancer bone metastases samples by fluorescence in situ hybridisation (FISH) detected loss of this chromosomal region in 11/23 (47.8%) cases (Fig. 1c), indicating that FBXL4 gene may be a gene commonly down-regulated in prostate cancer bone metastasis. The gene discussed is FBXL4; the disease is Familial prostate cancer.
