Given the facts that mutations in ZFHX4 were frequently observed in ESCC patients and were associated with poorer survival and that ZFHX4 was overexpressed in ESCC, we knocked down ZFHX4 expression in KYSE150 and TE-1 cell lines using RNA interference sequences to determine whether ZFHX4 plays an important role in ESCC progression. Here, ZFHX4 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
