In this study, from further analysis of the risk factors causing the occurrence of osteopenia and osteoporosis, it’s been found that blood Ca increase (but within the normal range) and age growth are the common risk factors for osteopenia and osteoporosis in lumbar vertebrae; Menopause is only the risk for the incidence of osteoporosis but has no relation with osteopenia; In addition, the levels of VD, PTH and P have no significant correlation with the BMD of participants’ lumbar vertebrae. This evidence concerns the gene PTH and Osteopenia.
