INS and Hypoglycemia: A total of 16 patients (51.6%) reported having nocturnal asymptomatic hypoglycemia (hypoglycemia group) lasting 80 ± 121 minutes, and were not significantly different from those who did not (non-hypoglycemia group) with regard to their age, HbA1c, BMI, total insulin dose used, bolus insulin dose used (as well as bolus insulin dose before breakfast), and basal/bolus insulin ratio.
