FDA-approved mAbs such as rituximab (anti-CD20), trastuzumab (anti-HER2), and cetuximab (anti-HER1/anti-EGFR) used in lymphoma, breast cancer, head and neck, and colorectal carcinomas, respectively, not only block tumor cell signaling but also induce innate and adaptive antitumor immunity (Ferris et al., 2010). Here, EGFR is linked to breast cancer.
