To evaluate the capacity of nimotuzumab to increase frequency of EGFR-specific T cells in vivo, PBMC from long-term nimotuzumab-treated patients (n = 17, at least 1 year of nimotuzumab monotherapy) and nimotuzumab-naïve HNSCC patients (n = 9) were incubated with a peptide pool from human EGFR. Here, EGFR is linked to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
