The results that anti-GP130 antibody or GP130 shRNA treatment inhibited STAT3 phosphorylation and/or cell viability in RH30 or RD cells expressing persistent STAT3 phosphorylation were consistent with the previous discovery in ovarian cancer cell [14], indicating rhabdomyosarcoma cell lines RH30 and RD were sensitive to GP130 inhibition.
