Administration of ghrelin at a dose of 12.5, 25 or 50 μg/kg before the induction of CIP, led to an additional and statistically significant increase in plasma interleukin-4 concentration to a level of 410 ± 50, 450 ± 55 and 482 ± 60 pg/mL, respectively (Figure 7).
