We found that the mRNA level was very much variable across the cell lines, and there was no consensus on the expression levels of NLRP3, NLRC4, NLRP6, and AIM2 among early stage (e.g. LNCaP and LNCaP-Ln3) and late stage (e.g. PC3 and DU145) prostate cancer cell lines. The gene discussed is NLRC4; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
