To determine if Mov10 functions in neurite outgrowth, we used Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-Cas9 to knock out Mov10 (Additional file 8A) in cells of Neuro2a (N2a), a murine neuroblastoma that has long branching processes when grown on a substrate [24]. This evidence concerns the gene MOV10 and neuroblastoma.
