Interestingly, the presented results of the classic tumor markers diagnostic criteria in OC are partially in accordance with a publication by Hamed et al. [29] who observed higher values of PPV and NPV for HE4 or CA125 separately (93.1%/80.7% and 92.7%/87.2%, respectively) in 30 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer versus 20 healthy women of varying menopausal status.
