FLT3 and neoplasm: Oral administration of JNJ-28312141, an FMS-related receptor tyrosine kinase-3 (FLT3) inhibitor, caused dose-dependent suppression of human non-small cell lung carcinoma growth and reduced tumor vasculature in nude mice, which correlated with marked reductions in F4/80+ TAMs (Manthey et al. 2009).
