We found that AR was present in RAW 264.7 macrophages independently of an infection, that 9 days after infection there was a sharp increase in AR in the splenic red pulp where clusters of CD11b+ (indicative of Brucella-induced granulomas) cells co-localized with AR and that AR and B. abortus co-localized in the infected murine conceptus. The gene discussed is ITGAM; the disease is Granuloma.
