In contrast, CD44 was parallel with FN1 (R = 0.406, P = 0.003) (Fig. 6g), VIM (R = 0.614, P < 0.001) (Fig. 6h), YBX1 (R = 0.557, P < 0.001) (Fig. 6i), EGFR (R = 0.506, P < 0.001) (Fig. 6k) and MKI67 (R = 0.391, P = 0.005) (Fig. 6l) but negatively associated with FOXA1 (R = −0.689, P < 0.001) (Fig. 6j), supporting the conclusion from the correlation analysis of human breast tumor samples (GSE20685). This evidence concerns the gene VIM and breast neoplasm.
