Multivariate backward Cox regression analysis, adjusting for age at diagnosis, year of diagnosis, type of surgery, hormone receptor status, tumor morphology, tumor size, tumor grade, multifocality, number of positive lymph nodes, radiation therapy, and adjuvant systemic therapy, showed that a positive UGLNB remained significantly associated with a worse overall survival compared to a positive SLNB (HR = 1.38; 95% CI 1.23–1.56; p < 0.001) (Table 2).
