Here, the expression of Zfp217 fluctuated with that of Pparg in three kinds of individuals classified as having diabetes mellitus (DM), impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), and normal glucose tolerance (NGT) (Figure 1D), and this implied that the potential effect of Zfp217 on obesity may be connected with Pparg. In addition, it found that Zfp217 and Pparg showed a similar trend in Ezh2 flox/flox preadipocytes when infected with retroviruses expressing Cre or vector alone (Figure 1E).
