In 960 TCGA breast cancers that have mRNA, CNA, and sequencing data, we found that the most commonly amplified/gained (> 50%) CHD gene was CHD7, and the most deleted (> 50%) CHD genes were CHD3 and CHD9. Notably, CHD7 was highly amplified in 8.85% but mutated in 1.25% and homozygously deleted in only 0.1% of TCGA breast cancers. The gene discussed is CHD9; the disease is breast carcinoma.
