As previously reported in mice without AngII infusion18, treatment of Apoe−/− mice with anti-CD20 B cell-depleting monoclonal antibody also resulted in a significant reduction of atherosclerosis in mice infused with AngII for 28 days (Supplementary Fig. S1a), with no difference in plasma total cholesterol levels (Supplementary Fig. S1b). The gene discussed is AGT; the disease is atherosclerosis.
